91yo Charles Aznavour to perform for the first time in Romania

French Armenian singer Charles Aznavour will perform for the first time in Bucharest in early next year. His show is scheduled at Romexpo on February 20, 2016.

One of France’s most popular and enduring singers, Aznavour, aged 91 has been dubbed France’s Frank Sinatra. He starred in over 60 films, has written more than 1,200 songs sung in eight languages and sold more than 180 million records (150 in English, 100 in Italian, 70 in Spanish and 50 in German).

In 1998, Aznavour was named Entertainer of the Century by CNN and users of Time Online from around the world. He was recognized as the century’s outstanding performer, with nearly 18% of the total vote, edging out Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan.

Prices are ranging from RON 575 (Golden VIP category), RON 490 (VIP category), RON 390 (first category), RON 350 (second category) and RON 260 (third category).
