WASHINGTON DC. Several sightings of Elvis Presley at President Obama’s second inauguration have given new impetus to the belief that the singer is still alive.
Two people reported seeing Elvis near the podium when President Obama was delivering his inaugural speech. Another witness maintains that she saw The King waiting in line for a portable restroom.
“I saw Elvis being shuffled into a back room,” said Elvis lookalike Ivan Lipskin, a teacher from Baraboo, WI, who was at the inauguration. He believes that the singer gave a private performance for President Obama and a number of senior intelligence officials after the inauguration ceremony. “Later on I stood next to a couple of secret service types and they were both humming Blue Moon. That’s the clincher for me,” said Lipskin.
