Born and Raised in Haiti, Yohann has been around music from the get go
At 15, strongly influenced by Linkin Park, he picked up his first guitar and at 17, he wrote and performed a Jingle that became the theme song for a prominent companies launches in new territories in the Caribbeans
Fluent in French, English and Creole, Yohann writes his own material and when he is not Performing he works as a Producer with different artists in the fields of Dance, Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop and Compa.But his passion remains for Rock.
In 2008 Yohann starts performing as a solo artist
June 2009 the Band is put together and a couple of months after the Comète Lounge of Hôtel Montana books Yohann for their first Rock Show
- August – December 2009 .

• June 29 2012 CD release Concert for the CD Ayiti Men Rock with guest Artists JPerry, Wanito from Haiti and Futuros Divorciados from Dominican Republic winners of the Premio Soberano for Best Rock Group of the year.
2013 – The CD ” Sad Tears of Joy ” is in the recording stage., projected to be released in 2014.

3 A sentence about your past
I was born and raised in Haiti, I’m 24, Been to at least 5 schools (I was quite stubborn maybe still am a Little bit lol not sure)
My hobbies outside of music consist of Anything new, Old, Weird, Fun and with good company unless I want to be alone. I’m quite handy with my hands too, I like to build stuff, that I always end up using in the Studio, well then maybe my hobby is also music LOL.
4 Where do you live now.
At the moment in Santiago. Dom. Rep. I needed to get away to work on my next CD
5 Describe yourself (. Guess 3 adjective will be enough)
I think to be safe I’ll say I am predictably Unpredictable, definitively FUN!!! And patient.
6 What is your talent?
Music in general, and people skills most of the time lol.
I’m able to “ visualize “ a song, completely with all the arrangements, Drums,bass,keys,guitars,vocals etc. I hear it all in my mind sometimes before even recording the first note.
7 Why do u practice it /how do you feel when you’re doing it
I practice because it is one of the only things that make me feel good and alive And the best way I know of expressing myself. I get lost in my own world I can try stuff, make mistakes discover stuff.
Even if I’m the only one that fully understands what I was trying to Do or Say, lol.
Safe to say I feel great with music.
8 How did everything started ? (Age/circumstances)
I was too young to remember really, but music has been part of my life before I was even born and for the life of me I can’t stay away. haha .
When I was still a kid, we had a studio at Home, and I was around music all the time, I met a lot of our stars, Emeline Michel, Don Kato, Fabrice Rouzier, the King Posse and ORS guys, even met Master J. and That was before I learned to play. Needless to say I couldn’t keep my hands of the instruments and I still cant. I started a little bit with keyboards, But When I got my First Guitar I was hooked, and the rest is History…
9 Who helped you/teaches you /supported you /inspired you
Helped and supported, mostly and mainly family and few friends
I am mainly self-taught and with tips here and there from people in the industry, like Keke from Mizik Mizik, Andy Barrow ,Makarios Césaire ( Who also played on my AYTI MEN ROCK CD ,
And my inspiration comes from anywhere or out of nowhere at times
I listen to and appreciate all kinds of music. Classical, rock,konpa,electronic,R’n B, Hip-Hop and I incorporate all of that into My music.
10 Good and bad side sides/good and hard times
The Good sides could be the bad, and bad the good,
It all depends on your perspective of the moment, but for me I think it’s sometimes the separation of the Artist and the Normal guy that gets hard in regards to other people.
Good and bad times would be the ups and downs in the journey. I’m not happy with every decision I’ve ever made but no regrets really, and how else was I going to learn haha.

Mostly in Haiti, P-a-P, Pétion-Ville ( My hometown ), St-Marc, Jacmel, etc.. Santo Domingo Once and more recently Santiago …

12 Life philosophy
LIVE and let Live ! With every experience I can change my mind about this or that So I just live and try to make the best of everything. There is only one thing I know for sure, it’s that I don’t know anything, cause life is a learning process. Carpe Diem.

My Love of Music, I see, hear and feel music everywhere here.
As long as I get inspired and I can inspire others I’ll keep Going at it.
14 Dreams and goals
To be YOHANN on a Michel Jackson, Elvis Presley, The Beetles, Rolling Stones scale. Give the fans the best that I have.
I would love also to work with some of the top artists in the industry, Linkin Park is the first that comes to mind, because they had a strong influence on me when I just started.I also want to work on movie soundtracks. And I would also love to be in THAT room when they say “ And the Award Goes to … “
15 And how can you relate your activities to your country ,do you have a plan for Haiti in the future etc
My plan is first to be the best that I can be, also to be an inspiration to others as so many other Haitian and International Artists have been to me.
But really let everyone know that you need to have a Dream and the Will to follow thru no matter how hard or hopeless it may seem at times, Cause even if “It SEEMS hopeless” it is NOT
