Pat O’Day is celebrating his 78th birthday. Pat is legendary in radio circles and one of the most creative people I have ever met. His tenure at KJR in Seattle is well known as deejay, program director and concert promoter. It was the latter that led him to found Concerts West that rolled out all the tours of Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and yes even Muhammad Ali. We were both honoured by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland in 1995. Pat, from all of us, Happy Birthday!
