  • 2001, Reba McEntire begins shooting “Reba,” a weekly sitcom for the WB TV network, in Los Angeles

  • 1992, Vince Gill earns his first #1 single in Billboard with “I Still Believe In You”

  • 1957, Elvis Presley records “Blue Christmas” to begin three days of sessions for his first Christmas album. Elvis also cuts “Treat Me Nice.” The sessions are held at Radio Recorders in Hollywood
