We’re less than two months away from the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel, and FX has released a pair of teasers to hype the new season.
In keeping with the unsettling, atmospheric, mood-setting teasers of seasons past, the clips for American Horror Story: Hotel keep the plot a mystery while providing imagery that’s…well, kind of terrifying. Seriously, a dude with skin stretched over his massive face? A dude getting strangled by a hand with far too many accessories on it? Crazy. That said, I did find it amusing that one of the teasers is set to a haunting version of “Heartbreak Hotel” by Elvis Presley. Let it never be said that American Horror Story doesn’t have a sense of humor about itself. Check out both video teasers below via Entertainment Weekly:
With a cast that includes Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson, American Horror Story: Hotel is one of the most anticipated series of the fall. The new season premieres Oct. 7 on FX.
