Glasgow Airport has added a new European city to its growing list of destinations, with the announcement of a brand new route to Munich with Lufthansa from summer 2015.
Flights will start on 16 May 2015 and will run once a week until 3 October. The route will have a journey time of two hours and 15 minutes, flying directly to Munich Airport.
The busy Bavarian capital, which is Germany’s third largest city after Berlin and Hamburg, is famed for its annual Oktoberfest – a two week beer and culture festival which attracts millions of tourists during September and October each year. It is also renowned for its 19th century architecture as well as its museums and art galleries.
