The clue to our first overseas stop (as of 11:15 a.m. local time on June 2nd – 6 hours later than the time on the east coast) is the title of this post. As an added bit of trivia, Elvis Presley used the melody (from a 1949 song by Tony Martin named “There’s No Tomorrow”, that had used the original melody), had different words written for himself and recorded it as “It’s Now Or Never” in 1960. It’s still one of the best selling singles of all time. But I digress…
We stop in New York along the way so we don’t leave these shores until about 8:30 p.m. (EDT) tonight to head across the pond. Oh, Laura just reminded me that she has a picture in our kitchen that might be an even better hint as to where we’re headed for at least the first 4 days…
