Damn! It’s been a very cold January this past week in Boston. Even though I have heat at my home, it’s very cold inside when the temperature dips below 30 degrees outside. We’ve had single digit temperatures and sometimes it was in the teens in the past week.
How cold was it? I went to my car Sunday morning and had a hard time opening the doors because the hinges were frozen. I hadn’t driven my car in almost a week, thanks to the bitter cold weather.
It’s one of my sensory issues (I have Asperger’s too). I can’t stand when it goes below zero outside. I have such a drafty home especially in the living room and I’ve tried everything to block the drafts (plastic over the windows and heavy curtains). I still feel very cold.
Tonight wasn’t so bad, despite the snow outside. I stayed warm in my bedroom. Unfortunately, my computer where I do my blogging is in another room just outside the bedroom.
Wish I had a tablet or an iPad. I wish I had more money to spend.
