I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year! I wanted to just drop a quick post summarising what I got up to this year during the holidays!
Like many people we visited Winter Wonderland and had a lovely time enjoying the atmosphere, food and drink (I can’t stop myself when it comes to the spiced cider – my favourite!) my husband and I met up with some friends for a lovely festive afternoon.
Vlad and I also attended the Christmas Carol Singalong at the Royal Albert Hall which was amazing! The atmosphere was super friendly and we had great fun singing Christmas songs along with a fantastic choir and orchestra. It really got us in the mood for the festive season and I really recommend it to anyone who likes a good Christmas song or two.
The most amazing thing were the huge mexican waves travelling around the interior of the Royal Albert Hall and at the end of the concert everyone made their programs into paper airplanes we had a rain of white as they were let go all around the Hall!
We made an amazing discovery this Christmas – Cherry Pepsi Max! I just had to mention it because it is so good!
We were joined on Christmas Day by our friend Fiona and my mother in law Elena, we had a lovely day of eating far too much and enjoying some festive drinks. Vlad and I both got some lovely presents ranging from coffee and jam makers (I want to make jam!) to coats, perfume and bike parts (obviously I didn’t get the bike parts!).
Lastly Elena, Vlad and I attended a performance of Dreamboats & Petticoats at the Wyndham’s Theatre. Elena had mentioned that she’d really love to see a show in London and so we organised tickets as part of her Christmas gift. Dreamboats and Petticoats is a jukebox musical based on popular songs from the fifties and early sixties with over 50 classic tracks from artists including Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly, an more. We really enjoyed the show and it was a lovely way to end the festive season.
What did you get up to this Christmas?

Merry Christmas!
