Elvis Presley Died 35 Years Ago

Elvis Presley died 35 years ago, on 16 August, and legions of his fans will be at Graceland for a candlelight vigil tonight and a special memorial with Priscilla Presley. How does this affect my life today? Only that TCM is running a mini-marathon of his movies, which, except for a few minutes of a camp gem like “Harum Scarum,” means that I won’t be DVR’ing much of that network today.
